The world's largest arts festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, launched their 2015 programme this morning! This year the festival will welcome 50,459 performances of 3,314 shows from 49 countries in 313 venues across Edinburgh - so you'd better get planning
For three days the grounds of the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh undergo a transformation in an explosion of scent and colour. This is Gardening Scotland – the national gardening and outdoor living Show and Scotland’s gardening festival! It is the biggest plant fair in Scotland and will take place from
Friday, 29th May.
Promising to provide everything from an abundance of beautiful plants to tools, equipment, garden furniture and all the inspiration you could need to make your garden grow. In nurseries across the UK, leading growers are already tending to the plants that they will bring to next year’s Show to provide gardeners with inspiration, information and top quality plants.
On Sunday 19th of April thousands of people will take to the streets of Edinburgh for The Morrisons Great Edinburgh Run.
The 10 mile event will take runners through the streets of Edinburgh’s city centre, passing iconic landmarks like Edinburgh Castle, the Grassmarket, Scott Monument and Holyrood Palace along the way.
Runners from all over the world will travel to take part in The Morrisons Great Edinburgh Run with participants from Australia, America, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and Brazil registered to take part as well as runners from right across Europe making the event a major destination run.
The MoonWalk Scotland bus will be in St Andrew Square on tomorrow between 12pm and 3pm. You can head along and find out more about The MoonWalk. There will also be some “Mad Hatter’s Midnight Tea Party” themed cupcakes.
