- Disney’s The Lion King - Edinburgh Playhouse

This year’s theme for Light Night, Christmas opening Ceremony is The Twelve Days of Christmas.
It’s an all-singing, all dancing extravaganza not to be missed, hosted by one of Edinburgh’s most familiar voices, Arlene Stuart from Forth One. This year we have a very special guest turning on the Christmas lights: none other than six-times Olympic champion cyclist, Sir Chris Hoy.

The famous Coca-Cola Christmas truck is on its way around the country! Coca-Cola researched Great Britain’s Kindness Hotspots – the towns and cities that bring the most joy to others in the Christmas season.
Holidays Are Coming' to the Grassmarket in Edinburgh on Thursday 28 November from 1pm - 9pm. Have your photo taken with the truck and enjoy some festive magic as Christmas helpers will be serving chilled Coke and Diet Coke to the sound of seasonal music.
